Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for complex problem-solving in cryptography and material science
- Lead interdisciplinary teams to optimize quantum hardware performance and error correction protocols
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks for enterprise-scale applications
- Publish groundbreaking research in top-tier journals and present at international conferences
- Collaborate with industry partners to prototype quantum solutions for real-world challenges in finance, healthcare, and logistics
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to patent development for quantum technologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years of research experience
- Expertise in quantum algorithms (Shor's, Grover's, VQE) and quantum error correction techniques
- Proficiency with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and classical ML/AI integration
- Strong publication record in quantum computing or adjacent fields (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Experience with superconducting qubits, ion traps, or photonic quantum systems
- Demonstrated ability to secure $1M+ in research grants or industry partnerships
- Deep understanding of quantum-classical hybrid computing architectures
