Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization problems

- Publish findings in Nature/Science journals and industry conferences
- Secure $5M+ in research grants from DARPA/NSF
- Mentor PhD interns in quantum information theory
- Collaborate with hardware teams on qubit stability improvements
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or Mathematics
- 3+ years in quantum computing research
- Proficiency in Qiskit/Cirq programming frameworks
- Published work in quantum machine learning
- Experience with superconducting or trapped-ion systems
- Strong background in linear algebra and topology
- Proven ability to secure federal research funding
- Patents in quantum error correction preferred
