Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum circuits for optimization problems
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum machine learning frameworks
- Translate theoretical physics models into deployable quantum algorithms
- Author peer-reviewed publications in Nature Physics/Science journals
- Secure $5M+ in DoE/NSF grants for quantum research initiatives
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information theory
- Prototype quantum sensors for medical imaging applications
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (postdoc preferred)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum circuit simulation tools (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing conferences
- Expertise in topological quantum error correction codes
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and quantum assembly languages
- Security clearance for government-funded projects (or ability to obtain)
- Track record of commercializing quantum technologies
