Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for real-world applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum-classical hybrid systems
- Publish groundbreaking research in top-tier journals and conferences
- Secure $2M+ in annual research grants from federal and private entities
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information science
- Develop patentable IP for quantum error correction techniques
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize qubit coherence times
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field (2020-2023 graduates preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum programming experience (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Published research in quantum algorithm design or quantum error correction
- Expertise in linear algebra, complex analysis, and quantum mechanics
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow/PyTorch, and high-performance computing
