Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum error correction protocols for fault-tolerant systems
- Develop novel quantum algorithms for optimization and cryptography applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum hardware-software interfaces
- Publish high-impact research in peer-reviewed journals and industry whitepapers
- Secure $2M+ in annual research grants from DARPA and NSF
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information science
- Collaborate with Intel and IBM on quantum cloud integration
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or Quantum Information with 3+ years postdoc experience
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and topological quantum computing
- Proven track record publishing in Nature/Science journals
- Active TS/SCI clearance (US citizens only)
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, and Q# frameworks
- Experience with superconducting qubit manipulation
- Strong background in quantum machine learning algorithms
- Patents in quantum error correction or cryptography preferred
