As a key member of our Quantum Research Division, you'll work alongside Nobel laureates and industry pioneers to develop next-generation quantum algorithms and hardware prototypes. Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Conduct experimental research on quantum hardware systems including superconducting qubits
- Develop error-correction protocols for scalable quantum computing architectures
- Collaborate with engineering teams to translate theoretical models into practical implementations
- Publish research findings in leading scientific journals and conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to patent development
- Stay current with emerging quantum technologies and industry standards
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related quantitative field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum computing research experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Strong background in quantum information theory and quantum error correction
- Published work in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Experience with cryogenic quantum hardware systems preferred
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex research projects
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
