Responsibilities
- Design and execute quantum algorithms for optimization problems in cryptography and materials science
- Develop error-correction protocols for NISQ-era quantum processors
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum-AI hybrid solutions
- Publish findings in Nature/Science journals and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Collaborate with hardware teams to validate quantum circuit designs
- Secure $2M+ in DoE/NIST research grants
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum circuit optimization frameworks
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development
- Publication record in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and high-performance computing
- Experience with quantum error mitigation techniques
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum information theory
