Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for real-world applications
- Lead quantum hardware integration projects with superconducting systems
- Collaborate with AI teams to develop hybrid quantum-classical models
- Publish research in top-tier journals and present at IEEE/APS conferences
- Secure NSF and DARPA research grants for quantum initiatives
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information science
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or Quantum Information Science
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Publication record in quantum computing or related fields
- Expertise in at least one quantum hardware platform (superconducting, trapped ion)
- Strong Python/C++ skills with HPC optimization experience
