Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for real-world applications in cryptography and machine learning
- Lead cross-functional research initiatives in quantum error correction and qubit stability
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks for enterprise-scale solutions
- Publish findings in leading journals and present at international quantum computing conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and drive quantum literacy across technical teams
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize quantum system performance
- Secure and manage research grants from government and private sector partners
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years of research experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#) and quantum circuit design
- Proven track record of publishing high-impact quantum computing research
- Deep understanding of quantum information theory and quantum error correction techniques
- Experience with quantum simulators and quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, etc.)
- Strong background in machine learning and statistical analysis
