Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to mitigate quantum decoherence and error correction
- Develop scalable quantum machine learning models for real-world applications
- Lead cross-functional research initiatives in cryptography and materials science
- Publish findings in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, Quantum) and present at conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and drive open-source quantum computing initiatives
- Secure patents and intellectual property for breakthrough innovations
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with quantum specialization
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes and fault-tolerant architectures
- Strong publication record in quantum computing or adjacent fields
- Proficiency in Python/C++ and high-performance computing frameworks
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical concepts into practical implementations
- Experience with quantum hardware (IBM Q, Rigetti, IonQ) or simulation platforms
