Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization, simulation, and machine learning applications

- Lead research initiatives in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Develop quantum-classical hybrid computing frameworks for enterprise deployment
- Secure and manage government research grants totaling $5M+
- Mentor PhD candidates and publish 2+ peer-reviewed papers annually
- Present findings at IEEE Quantum Week and ACM SIGPLAN conferences
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 3+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit)
- Proven track record of publishing in Nature/Science journals or equivalent
- Experience with quantum simulators (Cirq, Q#) and superconducting qubit platforms
- Strong background in linear algebra, complex analysis, and information theory
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and high-performance computing frameworks
- Demonstrated ability to secure federal research grants
- Knowledge of quantum cryptography and post-quantum security protocols
