Responsibilities
- Develop novel quantum algorithms for practical 2026 applications
- Lead experiments on superconducting qubit systems at 10mK temperatures
- Optimize quantum error correction protocols for fault-tolerant computing
- Collaborate with AI teams to integrate quantum-classical hybrid systems
- Secure $5M+ in DoE/NSF research grants
- Publish 3+ high-impact papers annually
- Mentor postdoctoral researchers in quantum information theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering
- 5+ years experience with superconducting qubit manipulation
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes (surface, color, LDPC)
- Publication record in Nature/Science/Physical Review journals
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, and custom FPGA control systems
- Experience with dilution refrigerators and cryogenic electronics
- Clearance eligibility for government-sponsored research
