Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for cryptography optimization
- Lead prototyping of superconducting qubit systems
- Develop error-correction frameworks for scalable quantum processors
- Publish peer-reviewed research in Nature/Science journals
- Partner with NASA/DoD on quantum communication projects
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information theory
- Secure $5M+ in DARPA/NIST research grants
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics or Computer Science (MIT/Stanford/ETH Zurich preferred)
- 3+ years of quantum algorithm development experience
- Published work in top-tier quantum computing conferences
- Proficiency in Qiskit/Cirq programming frameworks
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence mitigation
- Track record of securing federal research funding
- Patents in quantum error correction technology
