Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for cryptography optimization
- Lead error-correction research for scalable quantum systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to improve qubit stability
- Develop simulation tools for quantum circuit validation
- Publish findings in peer-reviewed journals and industry conferences
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum computing principles
- Secure external funding through NSF and DARPA proposals
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years experience with quantum programming (Q#, Cirq)
- Published research in quantum information science
- Expertise in linear algebra and quantum mechanics
- Proficiency in Python/C++ for quantum simulations
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM, Rigetti)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Validated track record of innovative research outputs
