Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Lead experimental validation of quantum hardware prototypes at cryogenic temperatures
- Develop error-correction techniques to achieve fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to translate theoretical models into scalable architectures
- Publish peer-reviewed research in top-tier journals and present at international conferences

Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years quantum research experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Proven track record of publishing in Nature/Science or equivalent journals
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Familiarity with superconducting qubit systems or trapped-ion architectures
- Strong mathematical foundations in linear algebra, probability, and information theory
- Ability to secure competitive research funding (NSF/DoE/DARPA preferred)
