As part of our Quantum Solutions Division, you'll contribute to projects spanning cryptography optimization, quantum machine learning, and molecular simulation. Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for computational optimization problems
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize quantum circuit implementations
- Lead research initiatives in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Develop theoretical frameworks for quantum machine learning applications
- Publish findings in leading scientific journals and present at international conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and drive cross-functional project alignment
- Secure external funding through NSF and DARPA grant applications
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years quantum research experience
- Expertise in quantum algorithms and quantum information theory
- Proficiency with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or PennyLane)
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability, and statistical mechanics
- Demonstrated ability to publish peer-reviewed research in quantum computing
- Experience with high-performance computing environments
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical audiences
