Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for real-world optimization problems
- Lead cross-functional R&D teams in developing quantum error correction protocols
- Publish groundbreaking research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Secure $5M+ in government and private research grants
- Develop quantum-resistant cybersecurity frameworks for 2026 infrastructure
- Mentor PhD candidates and lead quantum computing workshops
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with quantum circuit design
- Published peer-reviewed research on quantum decoherence mitigation
- Expertise in quantum machine learning frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and quantum assembly languages
- Experience securing DoD or NSF quantum research grants
- Deep understanding of topological qubit architectures
