Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for practical industrial applications
- Lead experimental validation of quantum hardware prototypes at 300mK temperatures
- Develop error correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Author peer-reviewed publications and present findings at IEEE Quantum Week
- Mentor cross-functional teams on quantum-classical hybrid architectures
- Secure $2M+ in annual research grants from NSF and DARPA
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (2019-2025)
- 3+ years experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum coherence or entanglement
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and quantum circuit optimization
- Hands-on experience with cryogenic quantum processors
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical models to scalable implementations
