Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum processors
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum applications for finance and biotech
- Publish peer-reviewed research in top quantum computing journals
- Optimize quantum circuits on superconducting and photonic platforms
- Secure patents for proprietary quantum methodologies
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum theory and practical implementations
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit)
- Published research in quantum algorithm design or error correction
- Proficiency with quantum hardware architectures (IBM Q, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum information theory
- Experience with cloud quantum computing platforms (AWS Braket, Azure Quantum)
- Track record of translating theoretical models into experimental results
