Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning
- Develop error-correction techniques to advance quantum coherence beyond 2026 industry standards
- Collaborate with hardware teams to prototype quantum processors with 1,000+ qubits
- Lead research initiatives in quantum machine learning and quantum neural networks
- Publish findings in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, Quantum) and present at international conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and secure $5M+ in government/private research grants
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or Mathematics with 3+ years of quantum research
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and quantum circuit optimization
- Proven track record of publications in quantum computing or related fields
- Strong background in quantum information theory and topological quantum computing
- Experience with high-performance computing environments and parallel processing
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with ability to abstract complex physical systems
