Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for practical industrial applications
- Lead a team of 12+ quantum researchers and engineers
- Develop error correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Partner with Fortune 500 clients to implement quantum solutions
- Secure $5M+ in federal and private research grants
- Publish 4+ peer-reviewed papers annually in Nature/Science journals
- Drive commercialization of quantum technologies by 2026
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of hands-on quantum computing research experience
- Expertise in quantum algorithm design and error correction
- Proven track record of securing research funding ($2M+)
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Experience with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Strong leadership background managing technical teams
- US citizenship or permanent residency required for clearance
