Responsibilities
- Architect and implement quantum algorithms for real-world applications
- Lead a 15-member quantum research team across multiple quantum modalities
- Secure $5M+ in government and private research funding
- Develop quantum error correction protocols for fault-tolerant systems
- Partner with industry leaders to define quantum computing roadmaps
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier quantum journals
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information science
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of hands-on quantum computing research experience
- Published work in Nature/Science journals on quantum systems
- Expertise in quantum algorithm design and error correction
- Proven track record of securing research grants
- Experience leading technical teams of 10+ members
- Deep knowledge of quantum hardware (superconducting, trapped ion, photonic)
