Responsibilities
- Design and execute quantum algorithm roadmaps targeting 2026 commercial viability
- Lead 8-person research team in quantum error correction and qubit stability
- Partner with hardware teams to co-design next-generation quantum processors
- Secure $5M+ annual R&D funding through NSF and DoD proposals
- Publish in Nature/Science journals and keynote global quantum conferences
- Develop IP portfolio with 15+ patents filed by 2026
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years industry R&D experience with quantum systems
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum SDKs
- Proven track record of securing government/industry grants
- Deep understanding of quantum supremacy benchmarks
- Experience mentoring postdoctoral researchers
