Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant systems
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and computer scientists
- Publish peer-reviewed research in top-tier journals and conferences
- Collaborate with Intel, IBM, and MIT on quantum hardware integration
- Develop patents for novel quantum algorithms with commercial applications
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information science
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience with quantum circuit design and Qiskit/Cirq
- Proven track record of publishing in Nature/Science journals
- Expertise in superconducting qubit systems or trapped-ion technologies
- Strong background in machine learning and high-performance computing
- Ability to secure $2M+ in research funding annually
