Responsibilities
- Architect quantum computing protocols for 2026 deployment targets
- Lead research in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for enterprise applications
- Secure $2M+ in government/industry research grants
- Mentor PhD-level researchers in quantum information science
- Present findings at premier conferences (QIP, IEEE Quantum)
- Partner with MIT and Stanford on quantum cloud initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of quantum algorithm development experience
- Published research in Nature/Science or equivalent journals
- Expertise in quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Proven track record of securing research funding
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence mitigation
- Experience leading cross-disciplinary technical teams
