Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization problems in machine learning and cryptography
- Develop novel error-correction techniques to achieve fault-tolerant quantum computing
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize qubit coherence times and gate fidelities
- Lead research initiatives in quantum machine learning and quantum neural networks
- Publish findings in top-tier journals and present at international quantum conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to open-source quantum software libraries
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years of quantum computing research
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and quantum circuit design
- Proven track record of publishing in Nature/Science or equivalent quantum computing journals
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Experience with quantum simulation frameworks (Quil, TensorFlow Quantum)
- Strong background in high-performance computing and parallel programming
- Excellent problem-solving skills for complex quantum system optimization
