Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum circuits using Qiskit and Cirq frameworks
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for optimization problems
- Collaborate with physicists to calibrate superconducting qubit systems
- Create quantum error correction protocols for 100+ qubit processors
- Lead cross-functional teams in translating theoretical models to deployable solutions
- Publish research in Nature/Science journals and speak at IEEE Quantum conferences
- Contribute to open-source quantum computing initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with exceptional experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming (Q#, Qiskit, or PennyLane)
- Deep understanding of quantum algorithms (Shor, Grover, VQE)
- Proficiency in high-performance computing architectures (HPC, GPU clusters)
- Published research in quantum computing or top-tier conferences
- Experience with cryogenic quantum system integration
- Strong background in linear algebra and complex analysis
- Entrepreneurial mindset with 2+ patents or open-source contributions
