Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures for industrial deployment by 2026
- Lead prototyping of qubit stabilization systems using cryogenic and photonic technologies
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for optimization problems
- Collaborate with AI teams to integrate quantum acceleration in machine learning pipelines
- Secure $10M+ in R&D grants through NSF and DoD partnerships
- Mentor cross-functional teams in quantum error correction methodologies
- Publish 2+ breakthrough papers annually in Nature/Science journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years experience in quantum hardware/software development
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Publication record in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Expertise in superconducting qubit systems or photonic quantum processors
- Strong background in quantum error correction codes (surface, LDPC)
- Proven track record of securing government or industry research funding
