Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum processor architectures targeting 2026 performance milestones
- Develop fault-tolerant quantum error correction algorithms for industrial deployment
- Create hybrid quantum-classical integration frameworks for enterprise applications
- Lead cross-disciplinary R&D initiatives with physics, materials science, and AI teams
- Establish quantum security protocols post-quantum cryptography standards
- Optimize quantum algorithms for NISQ-era hardware limitations
- Present architectural blueprints to C-suite investors and government partners
- Drive open-source quantum computing initiatives through GitHub collaborations
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years designing quantum computing hardware/software systems
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological qubits
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Proficiency with cryogenic engineering and superconducting circuit design
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Strong background in complex algorithm optimization for quantum systems
