Responsibilities
- Architect quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning applications
- Design hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks for enterprise solutions
- Lead R&D initiatives in quantum error correction and coherence optimization
- Collaborate with hardware teams to define quantum processor specifications
- Develop quantum security protocols for blockchain and encryption systems
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum programming and simulation tools
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum algorithm development or quantum hardware design
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum programming frameworks
- Published research in quantum error correction or quantum supremacy
- Proficiency in Python/C++ with parallel computing optimization skills
- Experience with quantum annealing systems (D-Wave, Rigetti)
- Strong background in theoretical computer science complexity theory
