Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum algorithms for practical enterprise applications
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical architectures leveraging AWS Braket and IBM Quantum
- Lead quantum error correction research for fault-tolerant systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams on qubit optimization and decoherence mitigation
- Create quantum simulation frameworks for financial modeling and materials science
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum programming (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Author technical whitepapers for IEEE and Nature Quantum journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Quil)
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Proficiency with quantum simulation frameworks (Qiskit Aer, Cirq Simulator)
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Strong background in linear algebra, topology, and information theory
