Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures for enterprise applications
- Develop error-correction protocols and quantum algorithms
- Collaborate with physicists to optimize qubit coherence times
- Lead cross-functional teams in quantum software-hardware integration
- Research emerging quantum technologies (topological qubits, photonic processors)
- Document system architectures and publish technical whitepapers
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum computing principles
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with exceptional experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing research or development
- Expertise in quantum algorithms (Shor's, Grover's, QAOA)
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit)
- Experience with superconducting or photonic quantum systems
- Strong publication record in quantum computing conferences
- Ability to translate complex quantum concepts for stakeholders
