Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures for commercial and research applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum algorithms for optimization problems
- Integrate quantum systems with classical computing infrastructure
- Develop error-correction protocols for quantum coherence maintenance
- Collaborate with hardware teams on qubit design and cryogenic systems
- Research and implement quantum-resistant encryption standards
- Present breakthrough findings at industry conferences and peer-reviewed journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing architecture or algorithm development
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in quantum error correction or quantum supremacy
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Strong background in machine learning and high-performance computing
- Ability to secure TS/SCI clearance (US citizenship required)
