Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for real-world applications across finance, healthcare, and logistics
- Lead the development of error-corrected quantum processors with >1000 qubit capacity
- Collaborate with AI teams to create hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks
- Develop quantum-resistant encryption protocols for enterprise security
- Present research findings at international conferences and peer-reviewed publications
- Mentor junior researchers and oversee quantum computing infrastructure
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years quantum computing experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Quipper, Qiskit)
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological qubits
- Experience with superconducting or ion-trap quantum systems
- Deep understanding of quantum complexity theory and quantum information
- Track record of securing federal or corporate research grants
