Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and simulation
- Architect quantum-classical hybrid systems to bridge current technological gaps
- Lead R&D initiatives to overcome quantum decoherence and error correction challenges
- Develop quantum simulation frameworks for drug discovery and materials science
- Mentor junior quantum engineers and publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum processor performance
- Ensure quantum system security and compliance with emerging regulatory frameworks
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years of quantum computing experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and quantum circuit design
- Published research in quantum algorithms or quantum information theory
- Proficiency in linear algebra, probability theory, and quantum mechanics principles
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Q, Rigetti, IonQ) and cloud quantum services
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex quantum concepts into practical business solutions
- Strong problem-solving skills with a passion for pushing technological boundaries
