Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum algorithms for cryptography, simulation, and optimization applications
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists and software engineers
- Architect hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks
- Research novel qubit technologies (topological, photonic, etc.)
- Secure patents for breakthrough quantum methodologies
- Mentor junior researchers and publish in Nature/Science journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience with quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq, etc.)
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Proficiency in high-performance computing environments
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum mechanics
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Q, Azure Quantum)
- Track record of leading complex technical initiatives
