Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum computing architectures for enterprise-scale applications
- Develop error-correction protocols to achieve fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize qubit coherence times
- Create quantum algorithms for cryptography, simulation, and machine learning
- Lead research initiatives in quantum supremacy applications
- Document system architectures and publish breakthrough findings
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum computing principles
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with 5+ years experience)
- 3+ years designing quantum computing systems or quantum algorithms
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Experience with superconducting or photonic qubit technologies
- Strong background in high-performance computing architectures
- Certification in quantum computing (IBM Q, Microsoft Azure Quantum)
