Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures using superconducting qubits and topological quantum systems
- Develop error correction algorithms to achieve fault-tolerant quantum operations
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and ML specialists
- Research quantum supremacy applications in cryptography, drug discovery, and materials science
- Create quantum-classical hybrid computing frameworks for enterprise solutions
- Patent breakthrough quantum algorithms with legal team support
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum information theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven expertise in quantum circuit design and decoherence mitigation
- Publication record in Nature/Science journals on quantum computing
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Experience with cryogenic quantum hardware integration
- Strong background in quantum machine learning algorithms
- Ability to translate complex quantum concepts into business applications
- Security clearance preferred for government project collaborations
