Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures optimized for error correction and commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing hybrid quantum-classical computing solutions
- Establish industry standards for quantum security protocols post-quantum cryptography
- Partner with academic institutions to advance quantum algorithm development
- Develop strategic roadmaps for quantum adoption in finance, healthcare, and logistics
- Secure multi-million dollar R&D grants from NSF and DARPA
- Mentor junior quantum engineers through our Quantum Talent Initiative
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes and fault-tolerant architectures
- Proficiency with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Experience securing federal research grants and managing quantum projects
- Demonstrated ability to translate quantum concepts into business applications
- Strong knowledge of post-quantum cryptography standards (NIST PQC project)
- Published work in quantum machine learning or quantum simulation
