Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures using superconducting qubits and topological systems
- Develop error-correction algorithms to achieve fault-tolerant quantum computation
- Lead cross-functional teams in building quantum software development frameworks
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum-classical interfaces
- Research novel quantum algorithms for cryptography and molecular simulation
- Establish security protocols for quantum-resistant encryption standards
- Present quantum computing roadmaps to C-suite executives and venture partners
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing architecture or quantum algorithm development
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum programming frameworks
- Published research in quantum error correction or fault tolerance
- Proficiency in high-performance computing environments (HPC)
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, AWS Braket)
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum information theory
