Responsibilities
- Architect scalable quantum computing systems with 10,000+ qubit capacity
- Design error-correction frameworks for fault-tolerant quantum operations
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for enterprise applications
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists and software engineers
- Secure $50M+ in R&D grants for quantum supremacy projects
- Partner with Fortune 500 clients to implement quantum solutions
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature Physics and IEEE journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience in quantum hardware/software development
- Expertise in quantum error correction and topological qubits
- Proficiency with Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum circuit optimization
- Published research in quantum computing (minimum 3 peer-reviewed papers)
- Experience securing federal quantum research grants
- Deep knowledge of quantum machine learning algorithms
