Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures for enterprise applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum algorithms for real-world problem-solving
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize quantum processor performance
- Develop quantum security protocols for next-gen data protection systems
- Research emerging quantum technologies and create implementation roadmaps
- Present quantum solutions to C-level executives and technical stakeholders
- Mentor junior quantum engineers and contribute to technical documentation
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 5+ years experience
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum error correction algorithms
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Strong background in quantum hardware architectures (superconducting, ion trap, photonic)
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Experience with cloud quantum computing platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex quantum concepts into business solutions
- Certification in quantum machine learning or quantum cryptography preferred
