Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for enterprise applications
- Develop quantum algorithms solving complex optimization and simulation problems
- Lead integration of quantum processors with classical high-performance computing systems
- Establish quantum error correction protocols and mitigation strategies
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum processors and control systems
- Drive R&D initiatives in quantum machine learning and cryptographic applications
- Mentor cross-functional teams in quantum computing principles and best practices
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and circuit design
- Published research in quantum error correction or fault-tolerant architectures
- Proven track record of scaling quantum systems beyond 100 qubits
- Deep understanding of quantum hardware limitations and mitigation techniques
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket, Azure Quantum)
- Strong background in high-performance computing and parallel processing
