Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for 2026-scale applications
- Develop error correction protocols achieving 99.999% qubit stability
- Create hybrid quantum-classical computing workflows for pharmaceutical and materials science
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum neural networks
- Architect quantum-resistant security frameworks for critical infrastructure
- Optimize quantum algorithms for real-world logistics and supply chain optimization
- Collaborate with DARPA and NASA on quantum communication protocols
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum error correction or topological qubits
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum circuit optimization
- Proven track record of designing scalable quantum systems (>50 qubits)
- Deep understanding of quantum supremacy benchmarks and NISQ limitations
- Experience with cryogenic engineering and quantum hardware integration
- Strong background in machine learning and classical-quantum hybrid systems
