Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum processor architectures and control systems
- Develop quantum error correction protocols for fault-tolerant computing
- Create hybrid quantum-classical integration frameworks
- Lead quantum algorithm optimization for commercial applications
- Research cutting-edge qubit technologies (superconducting, photonic, topological)
- Collaborate with AI teams on quantum-enhanced machine learning models
- Document quantum system specifications and implementation blueprints
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience in quantum computing architecture design
- Proficiency with Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum frameworks
- Published research in quantum error correction or qubit coherence
- Strong background in cryogenic systems and microwave engineering
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Deep understanding of quantum complexity theory
- Certification in quantum security protocols preferred
