Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures for enterprise applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum algorithms with practical commercial applications
- Optimize qubit coherence and error correction systems for industrial deployment
- Develop quantum-resistant security protocols for next-gen data infrastructure
- Research and integrate emerging quantum technologies (e.g., topological qubits, photonic processors)
- Drive quantum-computing-as-a-service (QCaaS) platform development
- Present architectural blueprints to C-suite stakeholders and venture partners
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing research or commercial architecture
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Proficiency with cryogenic engineering and quantum hardware integration
- Published research in quantum error correction or fault tolerance
- Strong background in distributed systems and high-performance computing
- Experience securing $10M+ in R&D funding or venture capital
- Deep knowledge of NISQ-era limitations and post-quantum cryptography standards
