Responsibilities
- Design and optimize quantum algorithms for real-world applications in cryptography, AI, and materials science
- Architect scalable quantum computing systems integrating qubit arrays with classical supercomputers
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists and engineers to overcome quantum decoherence challenges
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum processors
- Contribute to open-source quantum frameworks and publish research in top-tier journals
- Partner with Fortune 500 clients to implement quantum solutions for complex business problems
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent industry experience)
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Expertise in quantum error correction and topological qubit architectures
- Proven track record of publishing quantum computing research or building production quantum systems
- Strong background in high-performance computing and distributed systems
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Certification in quantum machine learning or quantum cryptography preferred
