Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures using Qiskit and Cirq frameworks
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and data scientists to solve complex optimization problems
- Develop quantum algorithms for machine learning, cryptography, and simulation applications
- Collaborate with hardware teams to bridge quantum software and physical qubit systems
- Research and implement error correction techniques for fault-tolerant quantum computing
- Create technical documentation and present findings to executive stakeholders and investors
- Stay current with emerging quantum standards (NISQ, QML, and quantum cloud integration)
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with 5+ years experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, or PyQuil)
- Expertise in quantum algorithm design and quantum circuit optimization
- Proven track record of publishing in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and computational complexity
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum Experience, Amazon Braket)
- Ability to translate complex quantum concepts into actionable business strategies
- Proficiency in Python/C++ and classical HPC environments
