Responsibilities
- Architect scalable quantum algorithms for cryptography, optimization, and molecular simulation
- Design hybrid quantum-classical computing workflows for enterprise applications
- Lead quantum error mitigation protocols achieving 99.9% fidelity
- Develop quantum hardware-software interfaces for IBM, Rigetti, and D-Wave systems
- Mentor cross-functional teams of physicists and software engineers
- Secure $10M+ in DARPA/NIST quantum research grants
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent breakthrough work)
- 5+ years quantum algorithm design with demonstrated qubit coherence optimization
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or Q# with published quantum supremacy experiments
- Proven track record of patenting quantum computing innovations
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction (surface/colour codes)
- Experience with quantum machine learning frameworks (e.g., PennyLane)
