Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures for enterprise applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum algorithms and error-correction protocols
- Optimize qubit coherence and gate fidelity in superconducting systems
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks for real-world deployment
- Conduct performance benchmarking and stress testing of quantum processors
- Partner with academia to publish breakthrough research in peer-reviewed journals
- Drive quantum security protocols for post-quantum encryption standards
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing research or hardware development
- Expertise in quantum algorithms (Shor's, Grover's, VQE) and error mitigation
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Strong background in superconducting qubit technology or topological quantum computing
- Experience with cryogenic systems and RF control engineering
- Published research in quantum computing or high-performance computing
- Ability to translate complex quantum concepts into business applications
